Repuglicking columnists are out in droves saying that everyone is overreacting to the fact they are suppressing voters and that it isn’t true. But why does GA have to make a law about food and water in voting lines!!?? Doesn’t that indicate that people will be in lines for a long long long time?!?! But Repuglickings have no use for logic only propaganda.
Speaking of mazes…The GOP leadership was in a maze(A Trumpyrinth if you will) for the past 4-5 years and just when the were finally at a point where they could see the exit, they turned around and went right back in…
Many believe, with good reason, that Texas is on its way to becoming a solidly blue state as its population gets younger and less White Anglo. Should that happen there would be no viable path to an electoral college victory by Republican presidential candidates. The Republican love affair with the electoral college will come to a screeching halt should that occur.
The Republican party knows this and is trying to head off the possibility with racist voter suppression measures and gerrymandering. They are making no visible effort to appeal to voters of color.
Doesn’t it bother the rank and file Republican out there that their party can only win only with anti-democratic measures?
That maze is only part of their process. They also want to place a similar maze in front of obtaining a voter ID, and then they want to change their minds about whether they’ll still accept that voter ID… at the end of this maze, but in front of the voting booth, they want several administrators who should force you to prove that you are eligible to vote there (even if you have your voter ID, because of course you could have stolen it) as well as several poll watchers to size you up and make sure you don’t look like you might do something that they don’t want…
But the biggest impediment is their blocking of any voters who they think might not vote the way they want them to vote. And if you manage to get past them, and vote against them, they want to be able to throw out your vote (for the “good of the country”, of course)…
It isn’t the path, it is the difficulty of following the right path—some will have instructions and others will be given other tasks before they get all the clues….
This must be modeled on the labyrinthine workings of their thought processes. “In another moment down went Alice (or the GOP, take your pick), never once considering how in the world she was to get out again.”
The Detail isn’t fine enough to show the electric eye that examines Skin Color and moves the internal partitions around so that the “Wrong” voters end up coming back to the same door they went In through.
What a load of crap Robert. Biden’s home state, Delaware, has stricter voting regulations than anything that Republicans have proposed. You might also pay attention to current events like the G7 meetings in Geneva and the Biden, Putin summit. But no, you just vomit more divisive left wing propaganda and disinformation.

I think you made a mistake Mr. Ariall, there does appear to be a path through the maze.

The voting booth should be ten miles out of town.

Am I the only one who solves mazes by starting from the end and going backwards to the start? For some reason it works faster for me…

Not to worry, Trumpites, even if a potential voter makes to the voting booth, there’s a shredder ready to “process” the paper ballot.

Watching the manipulations of the Republicans today is very much like watching the southern Democrats of the 1890s.

Hmmm. I’m beginning to think that the Republicans don’t actually like democracy.

It’s nice to know the door is always open. Unfortunately, that begs the question of just where is that door?

Republicans want to pick the voters and tell you who won.
Your vote may or may not count depending upon the whim of an anti democracy republican.

It’s not voter suppression, stupid. The GOP’s new — and old — weapon is vote nullification
