Whew! Finally, a strip where Winky was kept safe.

The $100 won’t even come close to covering his medical expenses.

I once read a fantasy short-story about a man who a hundred years before wished for all the tea in China. The narrator tells the story has he sits on a strange, odd-smelling hill in Massachusetts.

“We can put that money toward the medical bill.”

“I wish for a hundred dollars.”

A hundred dollars. Way to go, Dr. Evil.

Was the money safe?

I wish for a monkey’s paw, in the Profs face.

Abbott & Costello “Susquehanna Hat Company” skit comes to mind.

Good thing he didn’t wish for a larger amount of cash. Or Gold Bars.

I wonder why winky didn’t ask for $10 billion, but I don’t think his spleen could take a bank landing on it.

But too bad that hundred dollars had to be spent for a spleen replacement surgery.
