Sadly — tragically, even — butterflies are high on the list of potential casualties for humanity’s unthinking war vs. our shared environment.

I saw the B.W.P. AFTER I had heard all the hype and know what to expect (or not expect). And I falsely expected to get my money back when I told the theatre manager it was the stupidest movie I had ever seen.

Butterflies are necessary because the universe needs whimsy.

kids find simple enjoyment in small events. Adults want to explain them.

New ailments are being identified all the time.

I rarely see butterflies, or dragonflies or damselflies for that matter, on my street any more. I don’t see too many moths, either. It’s sad. But, of course, there are still plenty of flies and mosquitoes. sigh

Several species of butterfly have completely disappeared from my neighbourhood some of them quite plentiful.
