It’s tiny compared to Eno’s or Monty’s.

My grandpa has hairy ears.

He’d better not say anything; one day it might be his.

I hope Nelson learns to control his mouth soon. Then again, that might be hard since he is almost constantly around Earl.

I’ve learned that emotional maturity is not blaming people for causing my feelings. Telling kids that they’ve hurt my feelings can set them up for a lifetime of misperception. If my feelings are hurt, that’s about my reaction, not their words. Teaching compassion & politeness is important and effective when we take responsibility & ownership for our own feelings. “When you make those comments about my appearance, I feel bad.” Subtle difference, but more honest & empowering.

There just has to be some reason they keep growing in old age, but your willie wilts.

One thing nobody tells you when you’re young is that body parts containing cartilage (nose and ears) keep on growing well into old age. Feet too, to some degree.

He’s more tapir than elephant.

Careful there, genetics could give you those same features someday.

I knew a very nice older coworker with a huge nose. It was said he was huge elsewhere too.

I see a nose following the tradition.
