I always confuse the one on this end of Summer with the one on the other end. Jason needs a memory-al about when to go all logical and when to let sleeping parents lie.

i’m amazed how Roger can spend so much money on useless hobbies like making wine or playing poker online, but never to afford a motorized lawnmower

You’d think Jason would know enough history to understand the point of the day

Kudos to Roger for his quick thinking.

It will build muscle and endurance. Jason doesn’t exercise enough for a lad of his age. Will also teach him about thinking before he engages his mouth and says things he might regret.

And I thought it was when all the babies were born!

For a smart kid, he’s not very smart!

Jason is book smart – brilliant even, but his social and psychological development lags a bit behind when he doesn’t see things like that coming.

Is it really so widespread that we’ve forgotten Labor used to be a respected force in society?

I always thought Labor Day was when women gave birth.

My first job as a teenager, I worked on Labor Day. Whenever anyone called to find out if we were open that day, my standard response quickly became, “Yes, we’re honoring Labor Day today by…laboring.” Boy, did I say that a LOT that day…

Labor day is when the Missus gets all her honey-dos done…

When I was that age and weight, I couldn’t even MOVE our manual pushmower.

Should have just kept you mouth shut Jason.

Maybe the theory is that the boys should save their money and buy a power mower. It’s pro bonis eorum, after all.

I still remember learning about rhetorical questions from father when he asked, "Do you want to wash my truck? " ;-) .

Age discrimination, that is.

‘Labor Day’ in the US should be on May 1st—in remembrance of the Chicago Haymarket Massacre—just like the rest of the world in which is it called International Worker’s Day or May Day.

But that would be communistic or, at a minimum, socialistic and Un-American. /s

Jason shows how someone can be extremely intelligent and still lack common sense. Have a great weekend.

The artist should take a moment to use a lawnmower for a model. I’m not sure what he’s pushing.

My brother actually is. Supermarkets aren’t closed that day.
