Heh Will, I have a question. Does Spud always carry an eye patch with him just in case he gets hit in the eye by, oh, I don’t know, a falling fish?

I’m so taken by Wallace. He is a role model for me for if I ever grow up. Merci !

Greetings from Nebraska Will Henry. I can’t tell you how impressed I am with your comic, I just don’t have the words. Given our respective ages, I look forward to reading Wallace every day for the rest of my life.

The question remains, did the osprey drop the fish or purposely aim it?

Seagull doesn’t even care. Sleeps through the whole thing.

That fish is gonna have some story for his grandkids! If he can make it there…

Will, do you still work at the wine shop or is Wallace a full-time gig for you now?

You know, it is my understanding that an osprey’s talons would normally still do a fair bit of damage just snagging the fish, so that fish is especially lucky if its getting out of this so unscathed, let alone alive.

Mr. Henry, I’m a Californian now, but I grew up in Providence, Rhode Island, and just wanted to tell you what a pleasure it is to be out on Narragansett Bay and Block Island Sound with you and the gang. Hey, Mr. Henry, I love Wallace the Brave and all the characters. It always makes my day, which in these times is life-saving. Your details are wonderful, and I always look for the seagull. How did you decide to feature the seagull? Is he a semi-pet?

I just want to echo what everyone else here has been saying in how I love your strip and all the characters. As a bonus, the art and backgrounds are so much fun to spend time with. I think Wallace is the person we all wish we could be when so we are so often more like Spud.

Yet another comment from me about how much I adore this comic strip! I read a lot of comics, as well as having a B.A. in English and a Master’s in Library Science, and yet still this is one of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading (and seeing). You are a true original, Will Henry! Thanks for the gorgeous colour palette, the beautiful liquid lines, and the story arcs that are hilarious and unexpected without a trace of mean-spiritedness. And thank you for giving all the birds in your strip human knees. That makes he happy every time I think of them.

Mr Henry, are you going to give Mr (or Ms) seagull a name? Many commenters have made several suggestions in the comments every time he appears. Henry or Henrietta would be an awesome name for the gull. Jonathan would be too but I think you may get in trouble if you did that one.

I think I understand Will “Tasty Waves” Henry and who can argue with Will “3000 Bot” but please explain, or not, Will “Half-Man-Half-Raisin” hahahahaaa

I LOVE your style and spend time really appreciating the swirls and curls and faces! Question…do you always sign every strip? There are many Sunday comics that I can’t find your name.

Will there be more secrets revealed while new secrets are made? Will we get future views of the characters sometimes?
