People wonder why I don’t have kids. I’m glad Dad is content with grandcats.

So who are all these kids? Alex had twins a while back. Is the taller kid Alex’s husband?

My favorite was “Sharp as a marble.”. I heard that a lot. Maybe not so “favorite” now that I think about it.

Did Alex mean to say “stepmomster”?

I’m still as sharp as a tack. A fairly dull tack, but still …

Zooming with #1 grandson last spring (we did his daily reading assignment that way while his dad taught via Zoom); he had an app that would take a pic & add ±40 years. We talked to him in middle age for a while, then he showed us Dad pushing 80.

“You need to put my picture in that, so we see what I’ll look like when I get old.”

“Granddude! You’re already old!!”
