Mike, you don’t have to worry about that; none of them consider you that sharp.

People wonder why I don’t have kids. I’m glad Dad is content with grandcats.

So who are all these kids? Alex had twins a while back. Is the taller kid Alex’s husband?

Does this comment, “Still sharp as a tack,” extend beyond the comic world to the actual family?

    ‘’ … sharp as a tack …’’ ? What’s a tack?

(An obscure reference, to a small fastener, used on Earth, in the late 19th Century.)

My favorite was “Sharp as a marble.”. I heard that a lot. Maybe not so “favorite” now that I think about it.

The author has for 50 plus years balanced sharing individual growth, and change, with pointing out American social and political impotence. Laughing at the latter, and smiling at the former.

    Thank you.

As I always tell my oldest grandson, no matter how old he gets, I’ll still be a half-century ahead of him! ( He just turned 27 ).

Zooming with #1 grandson last spring (we did his daily reading assignment that way while his dad taught via Zoom); he had an app that would take a pic & add ±40 years. We talked to him in middle age for a while, then he showed us Dad pushing 80.

“You need to put my picture in that, so we see what I’ll look like when I get old.”

    “Granddude! You’re already old!!”

    Gotta love ’em!

Probably a lot of people out there who are allergic to the words “Grandpa and Grandma”,andinsist on being called some new,made-up word.

The next chapter in the new blockbuster novel The Irony and the Idiocy: people who won’t take a vaccine or wear a mask and are proud of not being sheep…taking veterinary medicine.
