Just hang in there, old friend…..

Don’t give up, Brutus.

A little more rope, a little more rope burn.

At least life gives you a little more rope to hang on to as opposed to wrapping that rope around your neck, Brutus.;-/

Brutus could just tie a big knot on the end of that rope so he won’t slip off !

With that much rope Brutus should be a real swinger by now.

Enough to hang yourself with?

That’s a good thing, no? I’ve known a couple of people who reached the end of their rope and it seemed that rope was their lifeline.

What’s the old saying: “Life’s a b&^ch, then you die”? Sounds about right.

Maybe in the tug of war of life, a little more rope can work to your advantage. Don’t give up Brutus!

and at the bottom of said rope is the kaos that’s burning it so you can’t climb down. :D

When life gives you more rope, use it to Rope-A-Dope.

Brutus, as long as the rope keeps coming…hang on to it!

What’s worse than being on the lowest rung of the ladder of success? Hanging from your fingertips on the lowest rung.

Life is like a box of chocolate, and someone else ate all the good ones.

Don’t be in a hurry to reach the end of your rope. All that means is that there is nothing left. I’m hoping for another GOOD 100 ft myself…..

As I understand it, being at the end of your rope is a bad thing, yours got extended.

Rope is a means of descending from a cliff. And if your rope is too short to reach all the way to the bottom, then maybe it can reach to a ledge with a tree on it, allowing you to re-string the rope and descend safely. I did that once when I was a young man. I was very glad that the tree was rooted firmly at the ledge.

Art imitating my life. I guess that is why I like this strip so much.
