I’ve attempted a time or two to draw one or more of the “my little pony” ladies with makeup and outside of simple eyeshadow or similar, makeup on an equine face is surprisingly difficult to do well, I mean I suppose their idea of feminine beauty could be completely alien to our own, but still, it’s an interesting question.

The problem with MHN is the same as with a lot of women. They have the entirely wrong idea about makeup. Makeup should be applied so that you can scarcely tell there’s anything there. It should only be used to barely enhance or subdue natural features. Just like MHN, too many women slop it on, so they look like clowns.

Soooo, how many unicorns CAN fit into clown car?
