And if it is floods, we need to get those crazy newscasters on the weather channel to Mars. Since they stand out and report in hurricanes, it should be pretty easy for them to report from Mars.

Always some guy jogging in the background during those live scenes on “disaster central news”

Viewers rarely get a view of what’s happening in an area because the camera is focused on the ‘star,’ who is blathering on about what they would be seeing if the cameraman did his job. Just put the announcer in a little screen in the corner and show the full footage on the main screen.
