These cartoons are usually done well in advance but this was obviously referring to last night’s Dodgers-Cardinals game. The Drabbles live in LA and are often seen at Dodgers games. Don’t think they could get a special cartoon out by tomorrow but it would be nice to see Ralph rub it in Steinbauer’s face as the Dodgers won on a walk off home run in the bottom of the 9th inning.
What I don’t get is the Giants and Dodgers meeting in the first round. The Giants had 107 wins and the Dodgers had 106. Nevermind. The Giants finished first in the division and first overall in the league and the Dodgers finished second, but are considered 4th place because they did not win a division. Playoff seeding procedures in the NFL and NHL were reconsidered to avoid this craziness. Now the NBA needs to have the best 16 in the playoffs, not the best 8 per conference. If you are going to expand your playoffs to have 1/2 of the teams in the league participate, at least have the best 1/2. Geez, the CFL does this and they only have 9 teams when Ottawa is solvent.

When he is wearing a hat, the neighbor reminds me of Andy Capp.

… But whatever it is, the other one will obliterate them

Based on the hat colors, Steinbauer was crying in his red bird soup.
