Reminds me of the old Shel Silverstein poem titled, appropriately enough, “Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout would not take the Garbage Out”. It’s a real hoot, to use the vernacular of days gone by. https://youtu.be/-104x-t85G4
Ummm… Baldo seems to be saying that letting the trash pile up is a victory over garbage. I marvel at his father’s patience in even allowing him time to deliver the nonsense speech.
We don’t have the big wheelie bins for trash & garbage pick-up where I live, but we have twice daily garbage & trash collection – in my neighborhood about 8 am and 10 pm. Recycling is easy, just leave the stuff on the curb and it will be taken very quickly by pickers who make their living selling to the recyclers.

Sergio, I believe that includes Baldo doing other household chores.

“Garbage” usurping “terrorists” in this famous allusion. Very appropriate, as terrorists ARE garbage.

Eloquent, Baldo, but I think you knew deep down it wasn’t gonna work. Had to try though!

Being a parent (as many of you are) we can certainly hear each individual period in that sentence!

We need to introduce Baldo to Jimbo from “Rose is Rose” so Jimbo can explain to Baldo The Matchless Beauty of a Garbage Moment.
