Husband wears his belt below his hernia. He complains about clothes not fitting and his jeans slipping down – in addition to being worn too low they must hold 10 lbs of stuff in his pockets (I do not use a purse and the pockets of my jeans and I carry much less stuff than him in my pockets – don’t even need a belt to keep them up).
If he had the hernia taken care of his waist size would drop several inches and his pants would have a much chance of staying up.
Seems to me that “Pluggers” used to have a lot more to do with how folks managed to “get by” and “make the best of” what life sent their way but now many panels are more about ridiculing others and similar scenarios, while half the comments are childish insults worthy of a teenage girl pajama party. Ah well, so it goes.
