Tart cherry helps. You can get it in capsules. I take one a day. Once in a while my thumbs will still hurt. Then I’ll take a second one for a couple of days. Hs always worked so far. (Been doing this for about 10 years.). You can also drink tart cherry juice, but I don’t know dosage that way.
Does anyone remember the gizmo, with magnets, that you put onto your car’s gas-line? It was supposed to supercharge the gas or something crazy like that. 1975?
Arthritis in the hands really hurts, and makes it tough to do almost anything. I should know. I have it everywhere else, though, might as well be in the hands, too.
There is actually a famous case in the annals of psychotherapeutic hypnotherapy about a woman who had a paralyzed arm. After full medical examination found no reason, it was diagnosed as hysterical paralysis and she was referred to a psychologist who used hypnotherapy. He reasoned that she needed to be paralyzed for some reason. During the first session, he transferred the paralysis to the other arm . In subsequent sessions, he reduced the paralysis to forearm, then hand, finally to one fingernail ! She still had the paralysis that she seemed to need, but it no longer affected her ability to live a normal life. Hypno jujitsu.
I have it in hands and feet and knees. I walk miles every day anyway. It does seem to help to be active. I have it other places, too, but the feet are the most annoying sometimes. I buy very good shoes, but they can only do so much. I have had many epidurals in my spine, and while the first few didn’t do much, I did eventually get a lot of relief there.
My mom when she was living would mock her dad badly on his arthritis in his lower back, that skipped her and she never understood that, skipped my sister, our dad never had it, but I do in my lower back, right hip and my left thumb. I was told by a knee surgeon in my left knee I do not feel it there. Earl needs for arthritis pill, not a magnet.

Arthritis in the hand is no joking matter. I’ve got it in both thumbs. It’s a good thing I can type cuz I can’t write anymore.

That is down right mean. Nicer would have been "Get one for each wrist and that way you don’t have to remember which wrist is the problem.

Magnetic bracelet for arthritis? What is with this new-fangled quackery? I thought everyone knew that you need a copper bracelet for that!
