I heard of an old time golfer. It seems that he played the game for several decades. But he had really lousy luck in the game of golf. I guess he played for the exercise, or maybe the companionship, or maybe the drinks after the game. But as far the the golfing went, he had really lousy luck. It seems that his lousy luck lasted to the very end. When it was time to bury this gentleman, it still took six or seven tries to sink his coffin in the hole.

In case you missed school the day they covered this, in the early ’40s London was under constant attack by Nazi bombers and V-1 flying bombs.
