If I were Mike, I’d stop by the store on the way home from Liz’s thing in order to get some Icy-Hot cream for John’s back.

Elizabeth has a big test coming up in ice skating and she can’t miss a practice because of the big test. Schools in Canada are different from the ones in Arizona.

John still has that useless sports car? Thought he’d have unloaded it by now.

You realize I can’t get out of bed to come save you when you crash.

Sure kid. But if you scuff it, you clean it. If you dent it, you fix it. If you break it, you buy it. No fooling.

And after I drop off my loving sister, there may be other damsels in distress that may need my assistance for a ride! Don’t wait up dad!

Should have bought one with a stick shift and not show him how to use it. That’s what I did.

The trouble is, Mike, Dad does know you, only too well.

Just take the car keys out of his pants pocket, like my sister used to do.

The justification is pure Michael.

If I were Dad…“I doubt Liz is going skating alone, so just get her to ask for a ride with one of the others in the pack.”

Just the fender dented? I expect a LOT more.

I really don’t like seeing a teenage boy with dainty girl-hands and fingers.

Yeah, Mike, we do know you. You’re right there with anything to help yourself out.

I love today’s strip.

It reminded me when our kids were very young and how they tried to get something, toywise; or later when they wanted to go out and stay out later; or when they were old enough to drive, to take the car.
