Letter Writing Day. I suppose I could start writing a newsletter to send with my Christmas cards. I just realized it’s getting close to Christmas and I need to start getting cards ready to go out.
For those who want cold weather, I wish I could send you some of ours! We’re in the single digits now and are expected to drop below zero tonight. We had strong winds all day Monday so the chill factor was well below the temperature. Winds have died down some now, but it is FREEZING outside. There’s a storm coming for Friday. We might miss the snow (I hope so!) or we might get dumped on – up to 10". It depends on which way it goes.
STAY AWAY, SNOW!!! Dump on someone else who wants you!
No matter how you spell it, it sounds like trouble! Time to vamoose for the border! On another note, saw a wren, three golden crowned kinglets, a sparrow, a junco, a varied thrush, and three rabbits while out walking today.

Bun Co. Bunko. …I believe that the word may derive from the name ‘Buncombe.’ Possibly nineteenth century?
Kinda like breakdancing – first reference I saw to it was “break down dance” (or similar) in a Mark Twain piece.

They do deserve some credit for the TV and phone actually working.
