Dad’s cooking because he loves it. The tree is up. We have presents. I’m almost done with my Japanese snacks for the month.

I’m all for reducing social contact, but leaving the presents on a snow-covered roof may not be so safe either.

But then it is kinda like incest the way the GOP passes around not only the Covid but everything nasty that the GOP, a modern day plague unto itself, is especially besotted within and without. Shouldn’t we tinkle a little bell to warn off potential victims and to make way as they did in medieval times that the Bubonic cometh with rats and microbes galore.

Santa is afraid someone is going to shoot him. People have gone gun crazy. :(

Snow-covered roof plus eight reindeer plus one well-fed Santa equals impending disaster, I’m afraid.

Sooner or later, children come to realize their parents (and their entire society) have been lying to them. They stop believing in Santa and the Tooth Fairy.

Evidently, a large percentage of the population did not develop the ability to recognize lies and to stop believing them. I see an area of research yet to be discovered…..

I’ll need to request a government grant before any Republican takeover, as they would quickly move to bury the truth (and possibly me) before I can get started.

With so many reactionary people with guns in their home, I don’t blame him.

I personally celebrated the Winter Solstice AND will celebrate the season of giving of gifts and good cheer—including friends, neighbors and non-extended family (read: Republican Christians)…may Mother Nature bless my heathen soul.
