So…no police cars out front. Did Tracy and Sam take the bus to get there? Uber? Walk there? Also, shouldn’t there be forensics and CSI all over that place? If forensics got there, finished their business and left, is it SOP for them to leave the body behind? I’d imagine the medical examiner would take the body with them.
Tracy already knows who it is that did the deed. They never did find a body, live or dead, when he and Sam eventually got into the steel door blocked room.
Are we supposed to believe that Ape and Ferret committed murder? They don’t seem like the type. But maybe that’s it; they lull their targets into a false sense of security and they get close enough to do the crime.
Well, one good thing: We see Dick and Sam already on the job. Not like most of Mike’s stories where they show up at the end when things are pretty much already over.
1-DT: It’s rare that a murder scene involves such a rich guy with a beautiful home. Ya know what? I bet this’ll be an episode of Dateline or 20/20!
2-SAM: I guess we’d better solve it then. Otherwise they’ll just dig up Robert Stack and put it on Unsolved Mysteries. HA! This old fart still insists on paper billings. Check and see if the old fossil got killed with a cap and ball pistol – HA!
3-DT: No, looks like knife wounds.
SAM: I was joking about how behind the times he is. Or was.
DT: Oh, yeah…heh heh. Make a note of that for the TV Episode. I get to be the one who says it though. Lemme practice: _He was so old he pissed in his cap and gown pist… no, that doesn’t sound right… wait…ummm… LINE!
Dear Guest Writer Bernard, today’s panel reminds me of how Charge-TV just places commercials on their network with no forewarning. Yesterday it was Yeti and his associates, now Tracy and Sam. The transition is abrupt and rocky. Going forward can this story line be seamless? That is not too much to ask for.
Sharp-eyed, and sharper-chinned, Tracy spots something of interest, “this,” on or about the body of late gang Boss Moran.
(For the Chicagoland squad) Moran Mansion looks like one of those River Forest gangster estates not far from where I live (though lore is that even more live in more subdued homes in even nearer-by Elmwood Park)……

Good morning™, all!
I wonder what he means by “pulling invoices.” Was he issuing invoices, paying invoices, or what? Can anyone here clarify that?

Named, presumably, after Colonel Sebastian Moran, henchman of Professor Moriarty.

Shelley’s version of Tracy needs getting used to. I need more than one full story to get used to the new look of Tracy.

I think Tracy looks fine. Yes, it’s weird, but when hasn’t he looked weird?

Are those details fault of the artist or story writer?

I’ll have to throw a little limburger cheese on the fire.
I’ve never been much for the MINIT MYSTERIES or any sort of“interruption” from the regular creative team.
I guess I’ll be just reminiscing the next couple of weeks.
As in “Who bombed the spider?” in 1955?
