I have to say that both my wife and I are puzzled by this comic. Clearly Duane is mocking the kid in the next to last panel, but then he leaves with the barber’s cape and the kid still screaming. Other than him escaping a noisy situation, what’s happened here?

This is the first time I liked Duane! I must admit, I would have been tempted to do the same thing.

Plus Duane got out of paying!
