You’d better believe it!
True.
You went into the kitchen for food! Probably cake!
Happens more often than I like to think!
I know all the words to songs from the 60s but can’t remember the name of a movie I just watched.
exactement!
You’ve read my mind.
Which song, Aunty? Enquiring minds need to know.
most of the songs from 1983 you don’t want to remember…

My wife is amazed at how I can rectally extract the answer to some obscure Jeopardy clue, but forget to take out the garbage.
I’m with gopher about the 80s, I can remember a lot of 60s and some 70s, although most from the 70s sucked.
ooh ee ooh aah aah ting tang walla walla bing bang.

1983, you got to be kidding. How about some that are wee bit older Lassie!
There is a name for that. It’s called “the doorway effect”…
Just go back to where you were just a minute ago, and memory will come back to you.
When you’re a senior, you think a lot about the hereafter, as in “What did I come in here after?”.
But… you have had more time to remember the song than why you went into the kitchen. That sounds right to me.
Every Day!
I always know why I came into the kitchen.
That’s where the Refrigerator is located.
That’s how I feel sometimes.
