Do they have technology like that? If so, it sounds a lot like bionics from The Six Million Dollar Man except his bionics were internal not external.

Why have the suit in a station where most of the spaces are zero G. The only we make gravity is to induce spin….looking at the design of the station, everywhere but the ring would be zero G, unless you acquired alien tech, specifically artificial gravity
