Whatever god or intelligent designer or whoever has a lot to answer for. Do we really need upwards of two million species of gall flies? 850,000 species of beetles? And possibly he or she or it could have had a nap before creating bedbugs, syphilis spirochetes (and their close relatives, yaws). Do human males really need facial hair?? For why???
