Almost as subtle as the reactions my home made cheesed dip!!! Andrew loved my cheesed dip, but he doesnât come around as much as he used to. Funny Garf!!!!!!!!!
It was explained in the earlier strips, and in a couple episodes of âGarfield and Friendsâ, that the reason Garfield hates Monday is because terrible things always happen on Monday, such as getting hit with Spluts.
I couldnât help but be reminded of another cartoonist who drew a character who danced to celebrate various events. I would dearly love to see what the great Jules Feiffer would draw if called upon to illustrate his vision of Garfieldâs Happy Monday dance.

The fact that youâre standing probably gives it away.

Impressive. Garfield saved a lot of energy during his happy Monday dance.

Why does Garfield hate Mondays when he doesnât do anything more than on the weekend? And (I guess) he doesnât have Jon underfoot either.

Itâs so subtle that if youâre not watching Garfield at exactly 23.59 on Monday night itâll seem like heâs standing still

It would be funny if Jon walks by Garfield and asks âWhat are you, a statue?â and then Jon tips Garfield over accidentally.

Considering his past attitude about Monday, that is understandable.
