I didn’t see this coming. If the ump could throw out any kid with bad control my grandkids teams would have no pitchers. And it looks like he beaned the catcher not the batter.
In all reality , Look Coach get your pitcher the hell out of here a drug cartel whose been sent to assassinate him and his family just showed up. How do I know this , I’m US Marshall Steve Rock assigned to the Witness Protection Program . Move it Thorp , Now !
So I assume a brushback pitch is meant to stop him from bunting? (Not that that makes a lick of sense.) But then what did he even throw in P2? It looks like a wild pitch outside? Is that why the ump wants him removed? Because he knows he tried to throw at the hitter and fired it 6’ outside? And speaking of outside, before you head outside, check out today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
Gregggg has been pitching all game. (Although we don’t know what inning it currently is. Could be only the second batter I suppose.) Why would this one wild pitch drive the ump to decide the pitcher is a danger?
The ump should be calling the batter out for stepping on the plate instead of ejecting the pitcher.
Centrallll playing mind games with their opponents. Forcing the visiting team to sit in a chicken coop is pretty bush league.

Finally, this thread’s big moment. Ump should not have followed the Alice in Wonderland Queen’s gambit of “Sentence first, verdict later”.

P3- Does he mean Gil? Nothing but Fist Pump members casting shadowy silhouettes and like this storyline, rolling craps in the dugout.

“..we prefer that they not bunt…” So what do you prefer kid? Home runs? base hits? walks?

That batter is crowding the hell out of the plate. The intimidation approach clearly isn’t working.

Hey, they’re playing a team wearing teal. Nice change of pace.

Finally! I can’t wait to see how Coach (?) Thorp handles this.

The Ump is ejecting the batter for stepping out of the batter’s box and into the next cell.

I never knew a wild pitch was an ejectable offense.

Tomorrow, Greggg punks out the catcher and Scooter and tells Gil that he’s been pressured by them to throw chin music

He’s not allowed to pitch because he can’t see? Then how are you still umpiring?!!!!
