Poor Petey

This is worse than the “Uh-oh” baby.

The dreaded Inez, brandishing his weapon of choice while calling out fierce battle cries!

Pushy little so and so…….

Terminator Baby.

The action was almost too much. Between the running yesterday and this, it’s practically relentless! Thank gawd for lunch time.

Try moving sideways, those things have a poor turning circle – they fall over.

Welp, I was wrong. Not the Uh-Oh baby. The Unattended Toddler…

Petey has another out-of-body experience:

“Gra! Mumum!”

“Ouch!” “Ouch!”

You’re not safe yet. After lunch the kid will be back with the deadly Fischer-Price Corn Popper! It bangs your shins and makes action sounds simultaneously!

At least it’s not the Uh-oh baby.

Serpentine, Petey! Serpentine!

Poor Petey. The things he is forced to do in the name of family and societal norms. Hopefully this chronicling of events is therapeutic for him, or at least fodder for a zombie toad tome.

So it’s not the “Uh Oh Baby, Portent of Doom”, it’s the “Unattended Toddler Pushing it’s Own Stroller”.

Petey can’t outrun a toddler pushing a stroller?! He’s spent too much time inert in his room with Little Neuro.

“Much as I hate drawing action sequences “— of course he would and I never noticed. “Tiny hellion” is also gold. ❤️❤️

A creature he dreads above all others, “except fees”???

I was mistaken, as it turns out that the Looming Creature is not at all the Uh-Oh Baby (now Uh-Oh Toddler) but rather an anonymous but aggressive toddler pushing its own stroller. It’s name turns out to be Inez, and the Call to Eat from (presumably) its mother saves the battered and terrorized Petey….

Oh, cruel world!

I am enjoying this story arc.
