In Dutch life is “leven”, which contains the Dutch word “even”, which means “little while”. So make the best of it.

Hmm, I’ve never been good at grammar, but it does not look like “life” is full of “ifs.” It just has one “if.” Tempted to get theological about what that one “if” would be. But as a Christian, I could let the reader ponder what that one “if” would be.
