I sometimes wonder whether Henry was named after one of the English or French kings with that name. I’m probably reading to much history into that.

Today, June 24, is Midsummer Day. It also happens to be Saint John the Baptist’s Day. In the Middle Ages, there was a week of celebrations for Midsummer which also covered Saint Anne’s Day on June 26 and Saint Peter’s Day on June 29.

Can Henry do like some dogs do with Frisbees?

Can he fly and catch it in the air?

The code phrase now for firing on the enemy is “Tennis anyone?”

I did that as a kid. Potato gun shot tennis ball’s for the dogs to chase.

I had a doberman. I gave her a bowling ball to play with since she bit holes in every other ball and was disappointed that they were not round again. She was a very happy dog with a bowling ball. Alas, I didn’t have a cannon.
