Anesthesia scares me. I have been under twice. I have never felt the procedure was very worrisome. But when I practiced medical malpractice defense law, a surprising number of the medical lawsuits were about something going wrong with the anesthesia and not about the procedure itself. It is possible to have all sorts of injuries or unexpected outcomes from anesthesia. Death is just one of the potential bad results.
Oh, no!! I hope this is a bad dream. No good reason for Twix to die. Worse thing is, we will probably have to wait weeks for the next comic to learn more.

Recall that Twix needed vet care in the first place because he was caught in a leg-hold trap.
If your state still allows leg-hold traps, write to your local legislator and urge him/her to support legislation banning them.
