Of course she’ll survive. Trouble’s just a bubble, and the clouds will soon roll by, so she should just have another cup o’ coffee, and perhaps another piece of pie
I think Robin’s natural pessimism has been loosed upon the world. All I could think reading the last panel was “….well, yeah, up until the last thing anyway.”
Perhaps Puck was hoping the stud finder would lead him to the mail carrier, who is definitely a stud. Very sweet sentiments between the Woman and Bookstore Lady, and good advice: you can’t put your life on hold because of what might happen.
Georgia does an excellent job providing foreshadowing and weaving together complex stories for a medium of only about 3-panels and limited availability for text. Many amazing cartoonists would never attempt a multi-week storyline, but Georgia has done this multiple times to the delight of her readers.
I have two favorite multi-week arcs; the Christmas arc when Elvis gets out and meets Tommy and when Bea gets stuck in a tree. I would wake up each morning, check the obits to ensure I was not in them, and then immediately read BCN. I had to know what was coming next for our hero cats.
Pet/animal people are unique. They have such an abundance of love in their heart and need to share it with creatures that can never thank them more than a purr or a wagged tail; that is enough for us.
My landlady is selling the condo I rent. They’re putting a lockbox on the door today. I have no idea if I’ll be able to stay or not. So this storyline is really hitting me where it hurts.

Aw! History! And the Bookstore Woman’s advice is excellent (as you’d suspect from someone with so many books).

If you don’t hang the picture, you won’t find the Purple Room!

Awwww…and Pucky is giving her a big kitty hug. I don’t know how in heck I would survive without my kitties.

I could survive anything if I had a bunch of cats to cuddle.

Puck, Mrs Woman already HAS a male! Are you suggesting she should upgrade?

We could all use a friend like that to help us maintain our composure.

Come on Woman. Grab a hammer and bash that nail into the wall. You never know what’s behind it.

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
Beatrixia: I wonder what they mean about the Kitten’s Department.
Vi: Let’s go and see.
In the Kitten’s Department Room
Bea: Wow, they have some classic scrolls! I remember these when I was little!
Wally: Here’s Mike Mullicat and his Trusty Shovel. My Great Great Great Great Grandpa read that to me when I was just a tiny kitten!
Ta-Natash: And here’s my favorite, The Mouse and the Chariot.
Puckmosis: Why, that was written by Beaver Lee Cleary herself! We must invite her to visit here with us.
Elvis-Anum: Here’s The Voyages of Doctor Meowlittle! I haven’t read this since I was a kitten!
Vi: I remember going to the library for Summer Scroll Club. That’s how I got interested in science.
Puckmosis: Looks like a treasure trove in here, but it’s time to keep exploring.

Help! In the last panel, the hand to the left of Rucky’s head looks like it has 6 fingers… What am I not seeing correctly?

If you worry, will it change things? Possibly—for the worse.
