Some friends just told me they are moving to a fairly new 3 bedroom house in Newfoundland. Typical price around here (southern Ontario) — just under a million. On the Rock — $295 000.
Keep dreaming. If you pay for your week’s groceries, they put a lien on your liver! I hate to go to the supermarket these days. It takes forever to go through the checkout. “… put 12 dollars in this one, 5.50 in the Mastercard, 3 in the AMEX that I can get 6 installments without interests… am I still short??? let me see, I think I have an old Discovery somewhere… Hey! Wait! I have a coupon!!! Let’s star all over again…” :D
Groceries for the month are still less than the water/sewer bill or electricity, etc and they all pale before the mortgage. I’m glad we refinanced when the rates were low.
Just went shopping this morning. Saw a 10 lb tube of 73% hamburger for $2.89. I don’t mean $2.89 a lb either. If I had room in the freezer, I would have thought more about getting it. At the same place I got choc chips for 33 cents a package, good too. Now they are a quarter. One time got Tyson wings for 99 cents a lb. SHOPPING!! Knowing how and where to shop is the way to go.
Well my dried cranberry breakfast cereal ingredients went up 70%. Drought, they say. ’Took them since last fall to figure that out? Or do they inflate their costs over cranberry Futures? Corporate greed is a wonder to behold.

So that’s why people take pictures of their food—to show off how rich they are!

Good thing you didn’t get a loan for gasoline, that would have to be a 30 year loan!

Little advice. Don’t let your pop-tarts lean. They’ll burn in the toaster. Just sayin’. Or…Pop-Tart! Is that grandpa’s girlfriend?

Just start a mega church if you need money. Or a PAC. Or some other bs rip-off scheme.

Can we please turn off the money printer? It’s been going crazy for a while and it MUST be stopped lest this actually happen.

Sometime liens are not realized until you go to sell your pop tarts
aerotica69 about 2 years ago
Poptarts haven’t gone up that much, but the price of lunchmeat is just plain stupid.

Not the Pop Tarts!

Eat the Pop Tarts quickly, so they will be harder to repossess.

Put them— carefully — in the deposit slot.

Grocery bills can easily be lowered by eliminating processed foods such as pop tarts.

As for me, I had a girl in Fergus Falls. She put a lien in my balls.
