Opal, I think a can of water would be sufficient. Otherwise, it’d be too watery.

Might be from that brand whose commercial tagline is “so chunky you’ll be tempted to eat it with a fork”

You cannot take your eyes off of Earl for a second.

Soup on a stick does not work that way.

I have a friend that eats condensed soup out of the can. Mainly the Manhattan Clam Chowder. I hate that kind of clam chowder.

I heard a comedian once say that’s how sushi got invented, it was the husbands turn to make dinner.

He knows how to use a can opener?

Raw soup? VOMITROCIOUS!

Actually, from experience in the 60s, Bean With Bacon soup straight from the can isn’t objectionable. Dude, it’s like the flavors (and sodium) seem intensified. Whoah! Don’t Bogart that spoon, man.

Looks like a popsicle.

Soup on a stick? Deep fry it and it could be the latest “Fair Food” delight.

If it has solidified in the can, toss it.

Earl is dangerous in the kitchen….eating soup with a fork can be a hazard to one’s health…

Water?? shudder Half a can of milk. Yum.

Don’t see nothing wrong with Earl’s method. If we want to combat climate change not using the stove is a good start, and not dirtying a pot.. bonus.

Its unbelievable how dependent Earl is on Opal. Today’s men need to be able to do basic things themselves. Women are not men’s servants.

Perhaps Earl likes variations of lollipops.

It’s amazing what Earl will come up with!

Earl has increased the nutritional value of that soup exponentially but not diluting it with water.

Bean with bacon on a stick? I’d eat that every other day.

It’s WRITTEN on the can how to prepare it – Geesh, why do they portray men as being helpless in simple life skills? At some point in his life Earl had a job, earned enough money to raise a family, buy a house, could afford to retire – stop making Earl out as some bumbling fool.

Typical helpless man. They do stuff like that so you will do it for them. They get two things out of it warmed soup and you frustrated.

At least he didn’t try to heat it in the microwave.

LOLOL — I can see my grandparents in Opal/Earl all the time. This sounds like something Grampa would’ve done — LOLOL. I often wonder how he managed before they got married; he was 24, she was 21, old for that generation. I miss them.

At least he tried. I give him a C for effort.

So, why, pray tell, and I “seeing” MR. Bean do that?
