My wife has told they don’t call it French toast in France, but I don’t remember what they do call it. Brussels sprouts aren’t called that in Brussels, either, nor is a danish a danish in Denmark. We do call American cheese American cheese in America.

Hammie, if you don’t put maple syrup on it, you are doing it wrong.

But Hammie you do like French Fries I imagine!

She could at least give him some butter and honey or preserves to go with his American toast. The extra butter is what makes it so American.

As I reread the comments at breakfast before going to the opening shift at the grocery store at which I’m employed, I’m having avocado toast.

So put syrup on it. When I had once run out of eggs and wanted French Toast, I just toasted some bread and put syrup on it. Yes texture was different, but still tasted syrupy and that s what French Toast tastes like.

Has he ever had French fries?
