That’s an obvious invitation to break at least two of his fingers

apparently that couple made his day unbearable for some reason, and we are just witnessing the end of it

Don’t leave him a tip. What you should do is sue the restaurant. It’s what we Americans do.

Understandable. The waiter probably has limited understanding of English, and what the customer said was taken as a rude insult against the waiter’s mother. Or not. In any case, don’t leave the suggested 15 percent tip. Heck, the gratuity might already be included in the price of the meal! (—

Tip to waiter: finish out your tour then apply for unemployment insurance. And also, don’t go into the parking lot until this guy has cleared the gate.

That was pretty extreme. Perhaps the waiter misheard what he said.

A tip??!! I would be giving him a fat lip! and calling the cops for the assault with a weapon charges.

He won’t be expecting one.

My son in law found ground glass in his food, and we called the waitress over. While we were deciding whether to rush him to hospital, the waitress returned to assure us it was just from a plastic bowl that was deteriorating, and not to worry. We didn’t tip.

That waiter would have got his butt kicked, not to mention a lawsuit for the restaurant.

What we have here is a failure to c’mmunicate.

And an appetizing firing offense with a side of lawsuits…. for just desserts.

I don’t think he’ll ask for a spoon…

That’s gonna make for one bad Yelp review.

Well, on the positive side the waiter’s response to his request was quite quick.

Someone is getting an one star review on Yelp…

And, after the lawsuit, he’ll own the restaurant.

I hope the waiter got a lot tips before this. He will need the cash for bail money. Even misdemeanor assault will get him arrested.
