The question itself these days feels so dated. Rather with the level of worker turnover (presuming you can even get any qualified candidates to apply) would better be asked as, “If we hire you, how long do you see yourself working here?”
Sorry, but Nostradamus would answer the question in a near indecipherable 4 line quatrain. He’d NEVER be that specific.
Today that’d be: Dead by Covid. Or – if in the USA with a beard like that – contemptuously shot by some police officer.
“Not working for you” would be the honest answer but probably not get the job.
His predictions have almost come to fruition…
