He didn’t have his blanket the entire time Snoopy was gone. Should be over the worst of the withdrawal symptoms.

Poor Patty. She would have stayed safer if she had stayed sitting on Linus’ right side! I guess she is just jittery and hyper-active and she can’t stay still long in one place.

Too bad Lucy wasn’t around to shout at Linus if she saw this: “NO SUBSTITUTES!”

Charles Schulz was definitely in the “zone”. These comics were among his best!

There was an old story arc …much older than this, where Lucy took his blanket and told Linus she buried it. Linus proceeded to dig up the whole yard looking for it. Any hard-core Peanuts fan remember the approximate date?
