It’s good to have the site back and I’m thankful that they don’t seem to have lost any comments.

The ultimate irony here is the car thief having his car stolen. Of course, the car was bait, as we learned yesterday, so the police likely took it and it wasn’t Steelface’s anyway. (It seems there was little or no damage to the car due to the accident, just Steelface bumping his head inside it.)

Was Tomato-face driving 007’s car? If not we really don’t need to see it drawn as it is. An empty parking spot will do.

I’m glad tomato-face covered up his hairy chest! LOL!

Silly Steelhead, the car wasn’t stolen. It turned invisible! Better hurry before some doctor in an SUV tries to pull into that spot. crunch

Few places are more wired with surveillance cameras than hospitals, but what can Steelface do? Go to the security office & say “Somebody took my stolen car?”

They took it back to prep it for the next car ops scumbag, scumbag.

One thing was obvious was that some strips that update daily weren’t doing so for some time. Hopefully that is fixed too.

Good that the site is back. At first, I thought they are blocking visitors from my side of the world.

“Somebody stole my car!” Sure looks like “poetic justice” to me…or is it “turnabout is fair play”.

Where is public transportation when you need it? Oh well, Steelface could always put shoe leather to use. It would behoove him to start moving right now…with the quickness.

Wait a minute! Didn’t this guy arrive in an ambulance? Ah…Mike and Shelley used slight of hand on me…and I fell for the okie doke…hook, line and sinker. Someone stole his car? Why is there an outline? Must have a compititor…Invisible Man the IV…great grandson of the original who had a lot of movie roles. Maybe he and Vitamin hung out together in the actor’s lunchroom.

I want to see him get attacked by the Insurance lady Flo who was protecting that car !!!

Stolen or repossessed? Or recovered for its real owner by the police? Or, Wonder Woman’s Invisible Car?

I was following Tracy online when Gocomics was down, thank goodness!

GoComics has been down since the 19th. Glad it’s back but having scrolled through the last several days of Dick Tracy, I wonder if it was down for everyone.

Wait, “his” car was demolished, wasn’t it? How did he drive it to the hospital?

And it looks to me like Wonder Woman parked her invisible car in his spot.

And Wonder Woman took the open spot for her invisible car! OH, the HORROR of it all!

So since it was a “bait car,” that Steelface used for his getaway, it is to be presumed that, like in that old tv series, it was rigged with tracking devices. So, Tracy, and, company already knew where the “bait car” was, and, presumably the member of the chop shop that got a way during the raid. Now, with the information Robert gave Sam, and, Sam relayed to Tracy (and, Lee,) they’re rushing at the level just below lights and siren, to try and, pick up Steelface, aided by the fact that his transportation has been already recovered. Does Steelface remember how to boost cars, especially todays cars (apart from Hyundai, and, Kias)? Will he have enough time, before Tracy (and, Lee,) get there? Stayed tuned! Same Tracy time; same Tracy channel.

Heck of a shock over the weekend. I’d been concerned about not hearing from an old friend for some time, and got no response from a msg I sent last week.

Well, today I confirmed he died recently. We went ’way back to when I moved to the city. Worked at the same theater (Ah, yes. The wrong-sized rental tux for the Jerry Lewis film premier incident) and co-sponsored a successful petition to being DR. WHO to the local PBS station ( 3 years became a huge glut of genre movies and shows).

He used to end up at my apartment until about 2am, while I worked on ’zine cartoons and spit balled ideas and told jokes, we created (but never marketed) a comic strip, and he was the (armed) security at my wedding. And we were both cancer survivors. RIP, Ron Armstrong.

We shared a number of interests. Old time radio, ‘40-’60s era comics, and vintage TV (my ‘bachelor party’ was basially the two of us sitting in his basement apartment drinking particularly hideous Chinese beer and watching THE JACK BENNY SHOW and BURNS AND ALLEN on TV.

‘Buzzard pus’ was an ongoing (from the Tm Conway/Don Knotts comedy THE PRIVATE EYES) was also a thing. We saw it together and I think we both laughed uncontrollably for 5 minutes the first time we heard that line. The theater crowd probably knew fear that day.

And now I’m that stereotype: the guy who wanders around, newly aware of his mortality, as ‘he was two years younger than I am’. Gee. Wonderful.

Never mind how many cars Steelface was chopping every day and the various chop shops he owned and cleared out before Tracy got there, he still had no monopoly on car thievery in Tracytown and controlled nothing. This only reinforces what a small time hood he is.

I wonder who he knew at Patterson Playhouse who got Robert the audition? Somebody at the playhouse may be complicit.

Just because Robert has been made a sympathetic character, he was still a car thief and should serve a sentence. Crime doesn’t pay!

Oh, don’t cry, Steelface! You’ll rust yourself again, and the oil can’s almost empty!

It’s been 5 long days.Are all of us regular old geezers still alive?Heard rumor blackout began when Firestrike stuck h is finger into the light socket just to see what would happen.

That’s blood,but it had to be drawn as a sunburn so the censors wouldn’t panic and close the show.

Remember,these are the people who airbrush out Black Eyes.Somebody stole the car the bad guy stole in the first place.I’m overflowing with sympathy and pity—-RAHLLEEI am!

We finally get back on line and I’m away for another 4 days for the Thanksgiving Holiday.Small crowd but good food.By then,Steelface will be eating prison slop and we’ll have started a new story.

And I still think that Heels-A-Plenty gadget would have saved the Police Department a fortune on shoes.
