Early version of a transformer. At Easter time the turkey becomes a rabbit.

It looks like the turkey is doing a Ray Charles impersonation.

That’s it. That’s all the decorations for Xmas. Well, I don’t feel so bad for only putting up a wreath on my door. But, I still plan to put out a tree, either in the yard or porch.

Like I just said on The Duplex…

“Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s full-on Christmas comic strips.”

I just realized I still haven’t seen our two wild tom turkeys since just before Thanksgiving. They don’t migrate, so I hope they are just grazing elsewhere for a while. I miss the guys. The deer are still in rutting season, so they are pretty actively running around and eating everything in sight. If you live where there are deer, remember to be extra careful around dawn and dusk as they really don’t care about traffic laws.

Turkey should be glad he’s not in England.

Guess what the traditional Christmas dinner is there?

What did the Pilgrims have for the first Christmas in 1621? Oops, I forgot. The Puritans didn’t celebrate Christmas. Too much fun—and too pagan for their stolid tastes.

Annoying thing #14 – People who leave their Christmas decorations up until July.

Annoying thing #15 – People who put their Christmas decorations up in August.
