My dog will eat anything if he sees me do it first. The cat on the other hand, well you just never know. However if the dog shows any interest in it the story changes.

After all these years with Ludwig, you should expect that sort of thing now, Arlo.

That’s why you have a dog and not a cat!

Why did he throw it away?? He could have enjoyed the leftovers.

Let him go hungry for a few days then, then he’ll be happy to eat it

My cats have never turned down a shrimp.

Gimme a cup of fried rice and some chop sticks and I can make a meal of that. Heck, who needs the rice and chop sticks.

I try to give our dogs and cats a random leftover or two, but my wife says, “they” say you shouldn’t give them that. My childhood pets got who-knows-what under the table, and they lived long dog and cat years.

There’s nothing better than Swedish meatballs…unless it’s lutefisk.

Nothing wrong with that. Maybe Ludwig just doesn’t feel hungry.

If all Ludwig did was sniff the leftovers, why did they have to go in the trash?! Or maybe next time just put a small bit on a dish to see if he’d actually eat it.

Would not have figured Arlo to be someone who has a preferred caterer. :-)

Now if you had put it on the counter and told Ludwick to stay out of it . . .

My kitties would go nuts over the chicken and the shrimp. Beef is not to their liking though.
