We have a place around here, great donuts, called Manley Donuts. My daughter saw the sign and said, “I wonder what makes them manly?” I told her it was the name, she rolled her eyes and said, Yes dad, I know, I was making a joke.

Thanks, guys! Get us thinking about Jelly Donuts and there’s not a bleedin’ donut store open until tomorrow!

In the months between school and Uni, my eldest daughter was earning some money working in the cake section of a supermarket, and she had to be there at 06:30 each day. One day a customer made a formal complaint because her doughnuts didn’t have any jam in them; my sleepy girl had forgotten a step in the process that day! :-(
