    A paper bill? How quaint.

I pay off my credit card each weekend. It’s like taking the band aid off slowly rather than in one big jerk. It hurts less to pay it off hundreds of dollars at a time rather than thousands of dollars at a time.

Also, I catch questionable charges sooner this way.

My credit card isn’t as bad as it seems. I charge EVERYTHING. I hardly ever use that paper stuff that’s in my wallet. So, the credit card company does my accounting for me, and I also get cash back.

Wife and I decided we already have too much stuff in our house. If we really needed something, we already had bought it during the year. Other friends have made the same choice. The holidays are now less stressful.

As long as you pay the balance there’s no worries‼️☺️

It’s Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year. It’s roughly the time the credit card bill from Christmas arrives (as noted above), the holidays are over, and it’s months until spring. Plus, for many of us, we are headed for work on is supposed to be a holiday.

We solved part of the problem about which ccard bill to pay by using only one card for 99% of purchases and one card for a few subscriptions. We dropped the rest about 30 years ago and our way has reduced confusion and the problems of prioritizing which to pay first. We also don’t get tons of promos in the mail that just go immediately to recycle. Been much quieter ever since.
