Can anyone explain to me why it appears that in America one doesn’t give an anonymous Valentine card to the object of one’s secret passion but instead a card/gift to practically every person that you know?
Amelia and Sterling are quite the pair. She likes being hateful but Sterling isn’t hateful just has destructive tendencies. I would like to be the ‘fly on the wall’ and listen in to one of their conversations one day if they ever meet.
They’ll all be happy your thinking of them. And continue to do so spending so much time on prose. Face it Amelia, ya love ’em. Even if you keep the candy hearts and chocolates to yourself.

Anything to get Saint Valentine’s Day off the calendar, eh, Amelia? What’s next? Saint Patrick’s Day?

I often don’t care for Amelia’s mean streak; however, her attack on Valentine’s day silliness is quite pleasant.

Nice tribute to the recently deceased (actor) Wednesday Adams. That is what Mr. Henry was going for here, right?

Oh, be honest, Amelia—you’d pull the fire alarm regardless of whether or not it was Valentine’s Day. :P

Mrs. McIntosh, just send Amelia to the Principal’s office now. It will save you and your class the trouble.

Is this story line going to continue for two more weeks? Otherwise, it seems a bit premature.
