Since we are not allowed to go after ESPN and NBA for sheer hypocricy for being very proactive about social injustice in the USA and Canada but turning a blind eye to attrocities in China and Hong Kong because it will hurt their wallet. James has been their condescending tool and mouthpiece, he gets my vote. Favre, Antonio Brown and Aaron Rodgers for honorable mention.
In light of this year’s results, along with those of the previous 27 years, I nominate Jerry Jones who is the common denominator for the Cowboys’ slew of championship trophies won during that time.
And 3rd, I would like to nominate the idiot NBA player who brought shame on his team and fan base for his disgusting actions off the court but since there are so many, I can’t pick out only one.
Many of these would be considered 2021, Rodgers, for instance, cooled off this year, Robert Sarver, former Suns owner should be given a whole bunch of consideration
SJOY – The Cincinnati mayor calling Arrowhead stadium, Burrowhead. Ok, so he’s not a sports person, but it was about the AFC championship game. And, technically it was in 2023, but it dealt with the 2022 NFL season.
Wait, Tank — that equates this comments section with the social media that I’ve always eschewed — I’m only on antisocial media (LinkedOut — where I can post anything I want on my wall, but it’s on my side of the wall, and nobody else can see it.)
I feel bad for Hinds. Evidently, this got posted onto 4chan or 8chan and every transphobe and racist has come out of the woodwork. We get it. You’re raging in your parents’ basement and have never amounted to anything in your life and want to lash out. At least we know what jerks truly look and act like.
I don’t agree that LT should be able to compete in an individual sport but that doesn’t make her a jerk. Rodgers still tops the list in my book, or even Rory for not understanding money speaks. I don’t like LIV but who can blame them?
“Favre has denied most of what he’s being accused of and is not currently facing any criminal charges.” But of course we all know better than the criminal justice system. It is the seriousness of the charges rather than the proof of evidence. I have no love for Favre but just say, let criminal matters play out in criminal court. He may deserve SJOTY in the future but not yet based on what so far appear to be accusations.

1) Brett Favre, for taking millions in taxpayer funds intended for folks in need to line his own pockets AFTER reaping millions during his pro career.
2) Mohammed bin Salman (Saudi Crown Prince) for abusing pro golf to “sportswash” his country’s human rights record with the LIV Tour.
3) Dan Snyder, for long-term ruination of the Washington NFL franchise.
