Some kids in the Sundarbans wear masks (not the covid ones) on the back of their heads to trick tigers.

Now is a good time for Hobbes to start planning a bit of revenge on Calvin.

Looks like someone is going to need a new shirt!

At last, Cal gets ahead of Hobbes. First time I can remember that, but then, with my memory, well . . .

Walking through our house as a kid, I was not infrequently attacked by wild felines (usually hiding under the furniture), but in a playful tabbyish sort of way.

Hobbes has a keen sense of smell. Eyesight, not so much

I can not believe Calvin finally learned something!

Makes you wonder how many red striped shirts Calvin has.

I work with a guy who describes his middle/high school years in East LA. He’d be walking home from school approaching a corner, and he’d look at the reflections in the windows across the street to see what was around the corner waiting for him.

Hint: it wasn’t a cuddly stuffed tiger.
