Our Miss Kitty has taken to cuddling up to my leg for awhile, then walking across the laptop to jump to Spouse’s chair. MOST of the time, nothing critical happens, but she does seem to like to turn down the screen illumination. And turn up the sound.
I can’t remember which SF book it was, but the alien names they were using were ridiculous – difficult to read and long, When reading them, I couldn’t be bothered to figure out in my head how each were pronounced, so kept reading with my inner voice things like " Ugh talked to Oof about Ping" rather than the full crazy names
enough monkeys and enough keyboards and you would get the equivalent of Shakespeare – at least according to one theory. Maybe they should think in terms of cats instead. Einstein maybe??

oh great – like the cat wasn’t complacent enough
now she’s gonna be an author?
Macushlalondra almost 2 years ago
She wants you to add a cat to the story. Adding a cat to anything only improves it.
iggyman almost 2 years ago
Cats do like to do that, keyboard climbing I mean, as far as composing stories Muffin is alone in that I think!

did she upgrade her system since yesterday?

A cat is much less mess than using 12 monkeys to write something intelligible.

Opal’s correct… even though all Muffin typed was “cpwytolmeytw;di99yurtoe”.

I thought cats were only supposed to play dopey tunes on electronic keyboards for our video viewing entertainment.
ladykat almost 2 years ago
I disabled the keyboard on my laptop and bought an external keyboard. The cats can sit on the laptop all they want.
