Evolution or no evolution, Hobbes will always be the superior being.

Clearly evolution is real if stuffed tigers can talk.

I learned about evolving because of Pokemon.

I do, monkeys seem to be a lot smarter. At least smarter than a lot of people that I have to deal with.

Common misconception. The Theory of Evolution does not postulate humans evolved from monkeys. The Theory is that we have a common ancestor.

The concept of evolution in America is completely different from that espoused by scientists in the rest of the world. I worked closely with a group of European botanists for several years, and they had to explain a lot of things to me.

Hobbes is a direct descendent of the saber-toothed tiger.

They both taste pretty good when properly cooked.

The fact that this is insulting shows there is a distinct difference between humans and animals. We have something they don’t, the image of God, and to be compared to them is degrading.

I agree with the comic strip version because after all, comic strips are supposed to make us forget our day to day woes and make us laugh whether true or not. One of my teachers told me he didn’t believe in evolution because he said to look at all the people in Washington and you tell me if there is a difference.

Apes. And humans didn’t evolve from apes. Humans are great apes. (And, in this context, “great” doesn’t mean “very good”, “terrific”, or anything like that. It means “large”.)

The laughter of some humans is similar to the sounds made by chimps… or howler monkeys, depending. : )
