My life has been an opened book!

Doc, I’ve been so unhappy since I had my appendix taken out.

Doc, my childhood was chaotic. My mother was an author and my father was an editor. They fought all the time. All I ever heard was “delete”, “stet”, “delete”, “no, stet”. Sometimes I just want to get translated to another language and run away.

It’s starting a new chapter in life.

Is the shrink “reading between the lines”?

He can read his patient like a book…..

My step-mother used to say to me “I can read you like an open book”. She almost always got it wrong. I think she had a reading disorder.

It’s time to turn the page

It’s good that the patient is being so forward. It shows that he’s got a spine. I know the type. But he might want to put on a jacket.
