Weather has inertia. It hangs on longer than you think it should. Winter begins around Dec. 22 but doesnât really get serious until January. Spring officially starts in late March according to the Sun, but it takes some time for the atmosphere to get the message, so it still feels kinda wintry for awhile and doesnât really SEEM like spring until sometime in April.
