Too bad we can’t compare date from shooting deaths between 1994 and 2004 and shooting deaths since 2004 and see how much worse off we are without gun restrictions.
Over the years, I have known quite a few gun enthisiasts. Not one, or two, but small arsenals. Every one was very sensitive to any threat of regulation of their guns. In my present job, one of my co-workers said to me that he would barricade himself in his home before he let the government take his guns. I responded that I could not remember any administration that ever attempted, or even suggested, doing so. Too many Americans love their guns. No matter if any federal administration attempts any regulation, the guns are out there, in plentiful supply.
@xerses: “Why does no one wonder why a person under a doctors care for emotional problems is allowed to purchase any TYPE of firearm.”
What kind of “emotional problems”? Was the “doctor” (which kind?) trying to “cure” him/her of being transgender, thereby aggravating his/her feelings of oppression and anger?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but this shooting seems to be unique in one respect. It’s the only one I’m aware of that was carried out by a transgender individual… or, if you deny the reality of transgender, by a female.
But could “transgender” be an important factor in the motivation? The school — where he/she was a former student — is a “Christian” school. Did it perhaps teach that “transgender” individuals should not be allowed to exist? I’m guessing there, but if that is the case, will the authorities and media allow us to know?
Briefly, there were reports that he/she had left behind a “manifesto”. But now the reports all say that they have no idea of the motivation. What happened to the manifesto? Did it give no hint as to the motivation? Or did it give “reasons” that the authorities don’t want the public to know about… perhaps feelings of being attacked for being “trans” and wanting to fight back?
The image might have lots and lots of tiny coffins coming out the ejection port especially after what has happened in less than the first 3 months of this year
It will be interesting to see if the gun was the cause or if it was related to mental illness or the drugs pumped into the killer that might have side effects of suicide or other abnormal tendencies.
But not ever willing to let a crisis go to waste, the left jumps on the guns without the facts.
I wonder what will be blamed if the planned April 1 Trans Vengeance protest at SCOTUS turns ugly.
What a coincidence. A guy in Sydney Australia was arrested after walking around with a bong that was in the shape of an AK-47. Sad but true. A prime recipient of the “Darwin Award”

What a powerful image. Illustrating an assault weapon using coffins. Large or small, this affects one and all.

The christians love guns and the torn, bloody, lifeless bodies of children. In the name of the father, son, and holy 2nd amendment. Amen.

Whichever militia the shooter was in, it wasn’t “well regulated”.

Second amendment applies to militia which no longer applies to USA civilians not in USA military. Does not protect thugs.

Some of the Rs in Congress are still wearing their “AR-15” pins. And one of them introduced a bill to declare the AR-15 our “National Gun.”
Now tell me the gun industry lobby doesn’t own our politicians.
