In the world’s most famous thought experiment, physicist Erwin Schrödinger described how a cat in a box could be in an uncertain predicament. The peculiar rules of quantum theory meant that it could be both dead and alive, until the box was opened and the cat’s state measured.
Let me guess. Schrödinger’s guide coach who was always lost and found might have been Werner Heisenberg with his Uncertainty Principle who was an expert at always being lost and then found?
Amazing grace. His cat was once lost, but once he opened the box, voila, it was found. You just have to have faith that you’ll observe your cat alive.
Dr Schrödinger Who passed away in 1962. He is most known for his “Schrödinger’s cat” thought experiment. However this was a thought experiment not an actual experiment. In 1986 at the secret MIT physics lab in Nevada. A cat was paced in a secure box. Cat food was then placed on the floor of an adjacent kitchen. Shortly thereafter the cat was observed eating the cat food. When the box was opened the cat was inside alive and well. The experiment was repeated several times and at some point the cat vanished and was never seen again. MIT’s conclusion was some cat’s (not all cats) can operate outside of the laws of physics and can walk thru walls. The cat’s name was Pixel. ( Do not try this experiment at home, the lab in Nevada vanished in 1987.)

An object that has been taken to the “Lost and Found”
.. is both “Found” and (yet is still) “Lost”
… until and unless the real owner claims it.

I learned everything I know about sub-atomic physics from watching Ant Man movies. Oh, and reading as much by Richard Feynman as possible.
